Laziz Kudratov Holds Series of Meetings with Leading Companies and Financial Institutions in Germany
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — As part of his visit to Germany to participate in the annual meeting of the World Alliance of International Financial Centers, Uzbekistan’s Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade Laziz Kudratov conducted a series of meetings and spoke at business forums on 29 September.
The visit program included meetings with the leadership of Deutsche Bank and the Frankfurt Main Finance association, with which a memorandum of cooperation was signed. The document provides for the development of partnerships, institutional collaboration, and support for the financial sector.
Kudratov also met with Vietnam’s First Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh to discuss prospects for expanding economic ties and implementing joint projects.
Special attention was given to a joint forum with Franklin Templeton and the Uzbekistan National Investment Fund, where issues related to financing major initiatives in the country were discussed. Additionally, the minister held talks with leaders of leading companies in the energy, infrastructure, communications, finance, urban planning, and industrial sectors.
A key part of the visit was participation in the Commerzbank business forum “Growth Partner Uzbekistan – Strategy, Projects, Performance,” focused on bilateral cooperation prospects and the launch of new projects using modern financing mechanisms.
The Uzbek delegation’s work in Germany continues, covering new areas of interaction and strengthening partnership ties.
