The senators said that during the independence years, the look of the cities and the country as a whole radical changed. Large-scale construction works were carried out in the country.

In particular, in the framework of targeted programs to provide the population with cheap and comfortable housing, model multi-storey houses, cultural and art centers, sports and medical institutions and other social facilities, as well as roads, bridges and other infrastructure are being built.

The senators stressed that the adoption of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On the Establishment of the Day of Workers in the Construction Sector of the Republic of Uzbekistan", which establishes the second Sunday of August as the Day of Workers in the Construction Sector of the Republic of Uzbekistan, will allow employees of this sphere annually to mark their professional holiday at the state level. The law is approved by senators.
