Law “On ecologic expertise” to be improved

MPs, representatives of ministries, departments and organizations, experts and others participated in the seminar, UzA reported.

Ecologic expertise is main part of ecologic legal mechanism. Uzbekistan created firm legal base in this direction. The laws “On environment protection” and “On ecologic expertise” serve as important legal base for it.

It was noted that there is need to improve the legal mechanisms of the sphere. In particular, it is necessary to determine principles and rules of public ecologic expertise, further improve activities in ecologic expertise, ensure independence of specialists, conducting ecologic expertise, etc.

The draft law “On introduction and changes to the law “On ecologic expertise” was developed to improve mechanisms of the ecologic expertise.

During the meeting, the participants considered issues of protecting environment and population, main mechanisms of ecologic expertise and share views on improving the draft law “On introduction and changes to the law “On ecologic expertise”.
