Latvian delegation pays visit to Senate
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
A delegation of Saeima of Latvia led by chairperson of the Committee on foreign affairs Ojars Eriks Kalnins paid a visit to the Senate of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, the sides considered issues of further strengthening of cooperation between legislative bodies of two states.
The guests familiarized with wide-scale public-political and economic reforms, carried out in Uzbekistan.
The Latvian delegation also held negotiations with the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investment and Trade, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.
