Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A meeting was held in the khokimiyat of Tashkent to organize the “Landscaped Tashkent” campaign in the Uzbek capital.
Khokim of the city Jahongir Artykhodjaev drew the attention of the audience to the sanitary condition of the capital. He noted that, along with an increase in the number of landscaped locations in the city, there are territories that are completely abandoned, and the “Landscaped Tashkent” campaign will be the lever through which large-scale cleaning and landscaping work will be organized throughout the capital in the next two months.
More than 30 thousand hectares of the capital, cemeteries, internal streets of arrays and quarters, which have been left without care for a long time, will be cleaned of fallen leaves, branches and other garbage, and tree forming will also be carried out. Additional lighting devices will be installed where now night lighting does not meet the requirements. The capital will become even more clean, comfortable and comfortable.
It is planned to involve more than 1,000 employees of the Main Department for Improvement in the campaign, special equipment will be involved from the relevant departments. Deputy khokim of Tashkent Bakhtiyor Rakhmankulov was appointed head of the working group. Also, managers appointed responsible for each specific territory will monitor the quality and effectiveness of work, summarize the results of the action and will be directly responsible for the further cleanliness and improvement of a certain territory.
In the future, it is planned to carry out such actions on a long-term basis and turn Tashkent into an exceptionally beautiful, clean and comfortable city.
