The meeting was a courtesy visit of the Ambassador in connection of start of his diplomatic mission in Uzbekistan, the press service of the committee said.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged opinion on current state and perspectives of further deepening Uzbek-Korean cooperation in information-communication technologies.
In recent years, the cooperation in ICT sector is becoming key direction in the bilateral ties. Uzbekistan and South Korea implement several projects in ICT sector.
The sides expressed their satisfaction with the results of cooperation in ICT sector and implemented projects, including launch of e-library by KOICA, Korean Educational Center at Tashkent University of Information Technologies, etc.
