Korean Companies Explore Participation Opportunities in the Tashkent Pharma Park Pharmaceutical Cluster

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Director of the Pharmaceutical Industry Development Agency Abdulla Azizov held talks with Kim Seong-nam, President of The Standard Co., Ltd, and Han Young-sub, Executive Director of the Korea Medical Devices Association, on attracting Korean companies to the Tashkent Pharma Park pharmaceutical cluster.

The Korean side expressed interest in opening a representative office of the Korea Medical Devices Association within the cluster. Through this office, it is planned to organize the activities of more than 30 Korean companies operating in the medical device manufacturing sector.

To gain a more detailed understanding of promising areas of cooperation, a visit to Uzbekistan by the leadership of the Korea Medical Devices Association and The Standard Co., Ltd is scheduled for March 2026.
