Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A training seminar is being held at the International Press Center of the Central Election Commission to cover the parliamentary elections in Uzbekistan. The master class is held by the head of the Association of Private TV Channels of Germany, Rene Falkner.

The event was organized by the Central Election Commission of Uzbekistan and the representative office of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in our country.

It is attended by representatives of national media and political parties who study best practices and international standards in campaigning in the electoral cycle. The focus of the classes is on the issues of effective media coverage of the electoral process, modern methods of building communication between political parties and the media in the context of the election campaign.

“The idea of holding such trainings arose during the meeting of the First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sodik Safoev with the regional representative of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation for Central Asia, Ronnie Heine. Rene Falkner is a well-known German television producer, director, teleoperator specialist. The most diverse master classes were held by him not only in Uzbekistan, but in other states of Central Asia. Such trainings were successfully held in Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and other countries,” the representative of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in our country said.
