KOICA to implement four projects in Uzbekistan
The Government of the Republic of Korea and the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan agreed on implementation of four new no-string aid projects for US$19.5 million.
In the beginning of December, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of South Korea to Uzbekistan Lee Wook-heon and Minister of Foreign Economic Relations, Investment and Trade of Uzbekistan Elyor Ganiev signed a framework agreement on implementation of these projects.
The signing of the agreement will help to strengthen friendly relations between two nations and stimulate development of economy and public of Uzbekistan, the KOICA Office in Uzbekistan said.
In 2014, the KOICA is planning to implement four projects on increasing quality of diagnosis of patients with infectious diseases, creation of center for professional education in Samarkand, informatization and other spheres.
