Kirov Region to showcase products at INNOPROM-26
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Russia’s Kirov Oblast will take part in the international industrial exhibition INNOPROM Central Asia 2026, scheduled to be held in Uzbekistan from April 20 to 22. The regional delegation will be led by Governor Alexander Sokolov.
During the exhibition, the region plans to showcase advanced developments from its leading enterprises in metallurgy, mechanical engineering, and machine tool manufacturing. “Central Asia is of interest to us. What we produce is not manufactured there, and vice versa. Their products will also be in demand in our market,” Sokolov said.
A dedicated exhibition stand will be organized to highlight the region’s industrial capabilities, offering visitors an opportunity to explore key innovations and technological solutions.
On the sidelines of the event, the governor is expected to hold a series of bilateral meetings with Adiz Boboev, hokim of the Samarkand Region, and Zoir Mirzaev, hokim of the Tashkent Region.
The meetings are expected to result in the signing of agreements covering trade and economic cooperation, as well as partnerships in science and technology, social development, culture, and tourism.
The event is seen as an important platform for strengthening industrial and economic ties between regions of Russia and Uzbekistan, as well as for launching new joint projects.
