Khusanov Helps Manchester City Reach FA Cup Semifinals

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Manchester City secured a place in the semifinals of the FA Cup with a convincing 4-0 victory over Liverpool in the quarterfinals at the Etihad Stadium. Norwegian forward Erling Haaland starred, scoring a hat-trick.

Haaland opened the scoring on the 39th minute from a penalty and added a second goal just before halftime in the 45th minute. Ghanaian striker Antoine Semenyo extended City’s lead in the 50th minute, and Haaland completed his hat-trick in the 57th minute.

Liverpool had a chance to reduce the deficit in the 64th minute when Mohamed Salah stepped up for a penalty, but City goalkeeper James Trafford saved the shot, keeping a clean sheet.
