Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Having studied the weather forecast for the next week, showing air warming up to 27° С and more, as well as in order to save energy resources and to switch the heat supply system to summer operation, the Tashkent city administration is considering the issue of phased shutdown of the heating system in residential buildings from 20 April 2020. This was reported by the press service of the khokimiyat of the city of Tashkent.
Deputy khokim B. Rakhmankulov said that the shutdown of the heat supply system will be carried out in stages. First of all, the pressure on the heat sources decreases, the pumping stations are turned off, then the shutdown of the heat supply systems of residential buildings and local boiler rooms begins. At the end of the process, the heating networks will completely switch to the hot water supply mode. The entire shutdown of the heat supply system will take an average of three days.
At the same time, the deputy khokim of the city noted that spring weekly shutdown of hot water supply was not planned until the end of quarantine, all repair work schedules for preparing for the next heating season would be revised based on the current situation.
