“From 21 to 24 May 2019, a delegation of the Tashkent khokimiyat paid a visit to Tokyo and the city of Nagoya. During the visit, the delegation took part in the Tokyo Urban Sustainability Forum, a protocol of intent was signed, a Memorandum of Understanding between the cities of Tashkent and Nagoya, and agreements were reached in the field of urban planning, the introduction of new technologies in the field of energy and heat supply, water treatment, road construction and road construction markup. During the upcoming visit to Japan in December, it is planned to sign an agreement on cooperation between the cities of Nagoya and Tashkent,” the khokim of Tashkent replied.
