Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 12 August, at a video conference chaired by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, attention was drawn to the situation related to the coronavirus pandemic, and measures were identified for a phased resumption - starting from 15 August - of a number of types activities, movement of personal and public transport, the work of markets and cultural and spiritual institutions.
To ensure the fulfillment of the tasks of this meeting, the khokim of the city of Tashkent, Jakhongir Artikkhodjaev, met with the khokims of the capital’s districts and heads of markets and shopping complexes.
It is known that clothing markets will resume work in the city of Tashkent from 20 August. However, due to the fact that the situation with the coronavirus is not yet stable, it is required to fully comply with the rules of sanitation and hygiene and unquestioningly fulfill the instructions given in this direction by the Special Republican Commission.
In particular, it is necessary to measure the body temperature of those entering shopping complexes and markets, as well as to install disinfectants at the entrance - for visitors to pass them. It is strictly forbidden to enter the markets and shopping complexes of persons with high temperatures, as well as those without a mask.
The khokim of the city gave detailed explanations to market leaders on these issues and noted that strict adherence to protective measures is extremely important for the health and safety of the population.
