Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekneftegaz received an oil with the rate of up to 30 cubic meters a day from prospective well No. 83 of Khartoum field in Andijan region, eastern Uzbekistan.

The company said that the well is drilled with the use of high modern technologies, which allow to drill oil wells and gas wells quickly and qualitatively.

For comparison, the construction of well No. 82 was completed in 18 months in 2006-2007. As for Well No. 83, it was drilled in just 3 months due to introduction and application of new modern technologies.

The well was drilled in cooperation of specialists of Uzbekneftegaz, ERIELL Oilfield Services Middle East DMCC and Xibu (China).

In the near future, it is planned to drill additional 3-4 wells in order to increase oil production from the VIII Paleogene formation, and also to drill one appraisal well for deep-seated reservoirs with a depth of up to 4,300 m to assess gas-bearing strata.
