Khairullo Ibadullaev Awarded “Jasorat” Medal for Saving a Child
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 26 February, a ceremonial event was held at the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Saint Petersburg to present the “Jasorat” medal to our compatriot Khairullo Saidullaev Ibadullaev.
The ceremony was attended by Botir Asadov, staff of the consulate, representatives of the Uzbek community, and Russian media.
In his speech, Ambassador Botir Asadov noted that, according to the decree of the President of Uzbekistan, Khairullo Ibadullaev was awarded the “Jasorat” medal for courage and heroism: during an emergency in Saint Petersburg, he risked his life and health to provide practical assistance to a child falling from the upper floors of an apartment building, saving the child’s life. This act exemplifies the qualities of bravery, heroism, and devotion inherent in the Uzbek people.
The Ambassador emphasized that the award not only recognizes the courage of one individual but also reflects the commitment of Uzbek compatriots to high moral values, humanity, and responsiveness.
In response, Ibadullaev expressed gratitude to the country’s leadership and stated that every child deserves saving in such situations, and his actions were a natural human duty rather than heroism.
He also noted that receiving such high recognition carries significant responsibility.
Participants highly praised the bravery of our compatriot, emphasizing that such noble deeds serve as an example for the younger generation.
