Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 28 July, at a briefing at the Agency of Information and Mass Communications, member of the Headquarters for Combating Coronavirus Khabibulla Okilov noted that “the coronavirus is not transmitted through mail. The World Health Organization made no recommendations to limit trade interaction and transfer of goods between countries. At present, mail delivery from other countries to Uzbekistan is carried out in a regular mode. "

During the period of quarantine in connection with the coronavirus (COVID-19) in Uzbekistan, starting from 16 March, Uzbekiston Pochtasi has been sending mail by ground transport. These days, there were cases of late delivery during the receipt and delivery of parcels to the addressee.

At present, Uzbekiston Pochtasi together with air cargo carriers carries out international mailing by air transport to 35 countries of the world. Also, Uzbekiston Pochtasi carries out international mailing to 32 states only by land transport.
