Over 180 young people from all regions of Uzbekistan participated at the media camp, which was ended with special ceremony and awarding of the most active participants.
During the media camp, each participant took part in trainings and meetings on journalisms. Prominent journalists, editors of leading publications, information agencies and popular websites participated at the media camp and share their knowledge with the youth. Among them were Beruniy Alimov, Sherzod Kudratkhodjaev, Dilnoza Umarova, Aleksander Suchkov and others.
Among the invited trainers was Anton Korobkov-Zemlyansky, famous blogger from Russia. The Uzbek youth was interested in his activities and tried to receive information on running a blog or website.
At the meeting with invitees, the young journalists improved their knowledge in journalism and received recommendations.
The media camp was held along with seasonal school of the project “IT-school”, which was attended by 30 people. Young IT-specialist underwent theoretical and practical knowledge on IT sphere. It was focused this year on improving Uzbek-language websites.
