Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan to prolong visa-free regime for their citizens
Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan signed the agreement in Astana (Kazakhstan) on 19 January 2014.
According to conclusion of the Committee of Majilis on international affairs, defense and security, the agreement is applied to persons, who are residence of the sides of the agreement. The document also regulates issues related to income tax, levied by local or central governments, etc.
The document approved list of documents for entry, exit and stay of the citizens of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan in the territory of two states. Uzbekistan offered to add new types of documents to the agreement.
Biometric diplomatic and citizen passports of Uzbekistan, identification of the citizen of Uzbekistan under age of 16 and certificate of return were included to the list of the agreement.
