Kazakhstan Announces Personnel Changes in Foreign Policy
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Kazakhstan has carried out a series of personnel changes in its foreign policy sector.
Murad Nurtleu has been relieved of his duties as Minister of Foreign Affairs and appointed as Assistant to the President for International Investment and Trade Cooperation.
Ermek Kosherbayev, previously serving as Deputy Prime Minister, has been appointed as the new Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Additionally, Yerzhan Ashikbayev has been relieved of his post as Kazakhstan’s Ambassador to the United States, and Yerlan Alimbaev has stepped down as the country’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations office and other international organizations in Geneva.
Yerzhan Kazyhan, formerly Assistant to the President on International Affairs, has been appointed as Kazakhstan’s new Permanent Representative in Geneva.
Zulfiya Suleimenova has also been relieved of her position as Presidential Advisor and Special Representative of the President of Kazakhstan for International Environmental Cooperation.
