Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan Strengthen Cooperation in the Digital Transformation of Tax Systems
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A delegation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, led by Zhandos Zhumbayevich Duisembiyev, Chairman of the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance, visited the Tax Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
During the visit, the parties reaffirmed their mutual interest in further developing practical cooperation and advancing the digital transformation of tax administration. Duisembiyev and his Uzbek counterpart, Sh. Kudbiyev, emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral engagement and exchanging best practices in taxation and information technologies.
The Kazakh delegation was presented with an overview of the operations of the Data Processing Center of Uzbekistan’s Tax Committee, including key digital solutions such as electronic invoices, online cash registers, risk analysis systems, and automated reporting tools.
Both sides noted the significant similarities in their approaches to digitalizing processes and expressed their readiness to exchange experience, adopt best practices, and explore potential technical integration of IT solutions.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to hold regular bilateral consultations on issues of mutual interest.
