Kashkadarya Region to Receive New Boost in Socio-Economic Development
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has signed a decree aimed at accelerating the socio-economic development of Kashkadarya Region.
A new special economic zone, the “Mubarek Innovative Industrial Zone,” will be established on 200 hectares within the “Konchilar” MSH area of Mubarek District.
Management and development of the tourism infrastructure at the “Sohil Buyi Complex” has been entrusted to the regional Department for Tourism Infrastructure Development and Management.
Several project offices will also be created across the region: Kuva Agrostar LLC, Yangiyul Agrostar LLC, Mirzachul Agrostar LLC, and Navoi Agrostar LLC.
Plans include the development of a 15,000-hectare livestock feed base, with 5,200 hectares expected to be cultivated in 2026.
Education is a key focus. In 12 districts where preschool enrollment is below 80%, 350 private family kindergartens will be established. Additionally, 120 preschools will receive modern equipment to prepare children for school.
As part of international cooperation with the Federal Republic of Germany, a program will launch in 2026 to send youth to European countries for training in German language and professional skills, supporting organized labor migration and skill development.
