Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In November 2019, a group of medical specialists from the Kashkadarya region of Uzbekistan undergoes a monthly internship in Stavropol (Russia).

Such a partnership between the two regions of Uzbekistan and Russia in the medical field became possible within the framework of the activities of the National Chamber of Innovative Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

In the second half of September this year, an Uzbek delegation visited Stavropol, consisting of the director of the Kashkadarya regional territorial unit of the National Chamber, Shoira Nabiyeva, and the chief physician of the regional Multidisciplinary Medical Center Tulkin Rasulov. They got acquainted with the activities of the Institute of Continuing Professional Education of Stavropol State Medical University.

The result of the trip was the conclusion of a 5-year Memorandum on cooperation between the Kashkadarya Territorial Unit of the National Chamber of Innovative Health, the Kashkadarya Regional Multidisciplinary Medical Center and the Institute of Continuing Professional Education of Stavropol State Medical University.

According to the Memorandum, the parties will develop cooperation on the exchange of experience between the faculty, young and leading scientists, implement joint educational and research programs. On the basis of the Multidisciplinary Medical Center of Kashkadarya Region, it is planned to conduct master classes, high-tech surgical operations with the participation of Russian doctors for the further development of the surgical and other areas. The plans also ensure mutual recognition of individual programs and areas of study, the organization of seminars and conferences.

The first step in the implementation of the Memorandum was the advanced training of Kashkadarya doctors at the Stavropol Institute for Continuing Professional Education. In the first quarter of 2020 in Karshi, it is planned to conduct field trips with the participation of Russian specialists, where joint operations and master classes are provided.
