The company won a tender, which was held in May 2017 by the National Media Council.
The company will conduct research on the television audience under the trade name Kantar Media. At the moment, the technical work is under way to start telemetry.
Kantar Research is planning to cover over 1,500 TV viewers in 400 families in the cities with population of over 200,000 within first two years.
Families will be selected in accordance with internationally accepted methods, and they will be equipped with special devices "people-meters" to fix the time and frequency of viewing of the TV channels.
Starting from the third year, the panel of households-participants of the study will increase to 550 families in the cities of Uzbekistan with a population of more than 100,000 people.
