Kamilov: Uzbekistan attaches great to expansion of mutually beneficial partnership with Bulgaria
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan attaches great importance to further expansion of mutually beneficial partnership with Bulgaria, the message of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov to Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria Ekaterina Zakharieva said.

Uzbekistan and Bulgaria marked the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations on 12 September 2017.

“I am sincerely glad to congratulate you on occasion of the significant date - the 25th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Bulgaria,” the Uzbek Foreign Minister said in the statement.

“We highly appreciate the fact that on 6 January 1992, Bulgaria was among the first countries, which recognized independence of our country. Over the past period, dynamic and constructive ties have been established between the two states. We have formed a solid legal framework, which covers such important areas as trade, investment, transport, tourism, science, culture, etc.,” the message read.

“Recognizing the growing role and place of your country in Europe, we attach great importance to further enhancement of mutually beneficial partnership between Uzbekistan and Bulgaria,” Kamilov said.

“I am confident that the multi-faceted Uzbek-Bulgarian relations based on principles of mutual respect, equality and consideration of interests will continue to develop in interests of our countries,” the message said.
