Kamilla Rakhimova Wins Doubles Title at WTA 250 Tournament in Cluj-Napoca

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbek tennis player Kamilla Rakhimova, partnering Spain’s Sara Sorribes Tormo, won the doubles title at the WTA 250 tournament held in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, the Uzbekistan Tennis Federation reported.

In the final, the Uzbek–Spanish duo faced the Chinese pair of Xinyu Wang and Saisai Zheng and secured victory in straight sets.

The opening set was decided by a tense tie-break, which Rakhimova and Sorribes Tormo won 7:6 (9:7). In the second set, they confidently closed out the match with a 6:3 win.

The title marks a significant achievement for Kamilla Rakhimova, confirming her consistent performances on the international stage and highlighting the high level of preparation of Uzbekistan’s tennis school.
