Kadirov criticizes claims blaming the government for air pollution

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Alisher Kadirov, leader of the Milliy Tiklanish party, criticized those who link the rise in air pollutant levels to government actions, calling such individuals “experts” in quotation marks.

In his Telegram channel, he urged responsible officials to prevent the spread of assumptions that mislead the public.

According to him, although Uzhydromet’s statement on the natural and climatic factors behind deteriorating air quality came late, “no government in the world has ever been able to issue orders to nature — nor will it ever be able to.”

Kadirov emphasized that the Uzbek people have always “lived, live, and will continue to live in fear of God, respecting relatives, and remaining devoted to the Motherland.”

He added that “strength lies in thinking, order, and unity,” noting that some people’s sense of calm may be built on society’s anxiety.
