JV MAN Auto-Uzbekistan to launch production of MAN CLA trucks on LNG

JV MAN Auto-Uzbekistan will launch production of MAN CLA trucks, running on compressed liquefied natural gas (LNG), the company said in a statement.
Uzavtosanoat and MAN Truck & Bus AG signed an agreement on the organization of production of MAN CLA trucks.
The agreement was signed within the official visit of the government delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Uzbek-German business forum/
According to the agreement, MAN CLA trucks with an engine operating on LNG and a MAN CLA dump truck with a total mass of 50 tons and an engine capacity of 440 hp will be produced in the existing capacities of JV MAN Auto-Uzbekistan.
The project is planned to be implemented in 2019-2020.
