Judges publish appeal to people of Uzbekistan

The appeal said that the judge will expand their practice of continuing a direct and open dialogue with the people.

They will also take measures to restore the violated rights of citizens by providing active assistance in solving their problems and establishing justice.

Judges made a promise to analyze their activities and ensure reliable protection of citizens’ rights and freedoms.

“We will consider the cases impartially, objectively and fairly, as required by the judicial duty and orders conscience, we take full responsibility for ensuring that every decision we made is legitimate, justified and in accordance with the principles of justice and humanism,” the judges added.

Priorities in the activity of the judge will be justice, truth and decency, the document reads. They also said that they will take seriously implementation of reforms.

Judges added that will consider any illegal action discrediting the honor of the judge as an extraordinary event and fight with workers, who betrayed the ideals of justice, and keep the purity of their ranks.

Judges promised to take urgent measures to improve the professional training of judges, simplify the judicial process, including through the introduction of ICT, prevention of bureaucracy and red tape.

The appeal noted that the judges will identify systemic violations of the law and take measures to radically eliminate the shortcomings in the field.
