JSC “Regional Electric Networks” Denies Transition to New Billing System

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Social media posts have recently circulated claiming that Uzbek citizens would be unable to pay for electricity for seven days and would be left without power if payments were delayed.

JSC “Regional Electric Networks” stated that this information is completely unfounded and does not correspond to reality.

At present, the company is not carrying out any work to transition to a new billing system.

The enterprise urges citizens not to trust unverified sources and to obtain up-to-date information exclusively through official channels.
