Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 30 September, Abdulla Azizov, Director of the Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry of Uzbekistan, met with the management of one of Jordan’s leading pharmaceutical companies, Dar Al Dawa.

During the meeting, the company expressed its intention to produce high-demand pharmaceutical products in Uzbekistan, utilizing technology transfer in cooperation with local manufacturers. Negotiations are already underway with several Uzbek enterprises to implement the project.

Dar Al Dawa also announced plans to export medicines produced in Uzbekistan to MENA countries and provide technical support to local partners.

Following the briefing provided by the agency, the company plans to send its technical team to Uzbekistan for further project study.

The discussions highlighted the importance of the Tashkent Pharma Park cluster and the distribution center, as well as the dynamic development of the country’s pharmaceutical industry.

The Jordanian delegation praised Uzbekistan’s government policy supporting the sector and its rapid development, emphasizing the strategic significance of such initiatives for strengthening the region’s pharmaceutical potential.
