Joramco Expands Presence in Uzbekistan Through Agreements with Air Samarkand and FLYONE Asia
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Amman-based company Joramco, specializing in aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) and serving as the engineering arm of Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE), has announced new agreements with Uzbek airlines Air Samarkand and FLYONE Asia, an independent low-cost carrier and affiliate of the FLYONE Group.
The announcement was made at the MRO Middle East 2026 exhibition. Under the agreements, Joramco will conduct heavy maintenance checks on Airbus A320 aircraft operated by both airlines. These partnerships mark a strategic expansion of Joramco’s presence in Central Asia, providing regional carriers with reliable MRO solutions aligned with their fleet growth and operational scaling plans.
Fraser Curry, Director of Strategy and Commercial Affairs at DAE Engineering, commented: “By welcoming Air Samarkand and FLYONE Asia, we affirm our growing role in supporting emerging and rapidly expanding aviation markets. These partnerships reflect confidence in Joramco’s capabilities in narrow-body aircraft maintenance and our ability to accompany airlines through their growth and expansion processes.”
