Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Following negotiations held in the city of Al Kuwait, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the Emir of the State of Kuwait Sheikh Mishaal Al-Sabah issued a Joint Statement aimed at the development of comprehensive partnership between the two countries.

In addition, a number of important agreements and protocols were signed, including an agreement on industrial cooperation, a protocol to the agreement on air communication, as well as agreements in the fields of labor, smart city development, art and culture, and healthcare.

Plans for tourism-related activities from 2025 to 2027 were also outlined.

A significant step was the agreement on cooperation with the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development.
