Joint Energy Systems Modeling Center Opens in Tashkent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A joint center for energy systems and electricity supply modeling between China and Uzbekistan has officially begun operations at Tashkent State Technical University. The center was established in collaboration with the Chinese company Changtong Technology.
The facility is equipped with advanced computing resources and specialized software, enabling the simulation of various operating modes of electrical networks, conducting large-scale analytical calculations, and organizing virtual laboratories for educational purposes.
The project was initiated by the Northeast Electric Power University (NEEPU), the Chinese Electric Power Research Institute, the State Unitary Enterprise “National Dispatch Center” under the Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan, and Tashkent State Technical University.
The newly created platform is expected to become a key tool for training highly qualified energy specialists, integrating scientific research with practical applications, and implementing digital modeling technologies in Uzbekistan’s power sector.
