Jizzakh region’s GRP grows by 9.5% in 1H

Industrial output of the region rose by 13.7%, agriculture production 5%, construction -12.8% and retail trade turnover – 14.2%.

Share of small business in the gross regional production made up 63.3%, industry – 54.7%, agriculture – 99.8%, constriction – 94.9% and retail trade – 94.5%, exports – 87.8%.

The region realized 161 projects in industry and 689 projects in services sector.

In line with the localization programme, three territorial enterprises produced goods for over 2.39 billion soums and exported products and services for US$19.7 million.
