Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Embassy of Uzbekistan and the Khokimiyat of Surkhandarya region during the online negotiations with representatives of the Japanese company Gaina Pro discussed issues of investment cooperation, Dunyo reported.

In particular, the parties considered the possibility of implementing projects in areas such as the processing of household waste and wastewater treatment of industrial enterprises.

Gaina Pro President T. Okuda confirmed his interest in participating in projects planned for implementation in Surkhandarya region.

Issues of responsibility of the parties and the location of the project for the processing of household waste were also on the agenda.

Following the talks, an agreement was reached on concluding a Memorandum of Understanding between Surkhandarya region and the Japanese company Gaina Pro.
