Japanese delegation holds talks at MFERIT

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 10 March 2014, at the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investment and Trade of Uzbekistan (MFERIT) was held a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan Shinsuke Sugiyama.

During the meeting the sides discussed the issues of extending mutually beneficial economic and trade relations between two countries, including bilateral activities, high-level visits.

The sides also considered implementation of joint projects within the framework of investment, financial and technical cooperation.

The sides also noted the effective results of the Uzbekistan-Japan Cooperation Forum held on March 3, 2014 in Tokyo with the participation of the Matsumoto Foundation, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan, JETRO and JICA.
