Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - As in all areas, the reforms in agriculture should also give results and effect. The results of the reforms should first of all be noticeable in the profit of farmers and in the dostarkhan dekhkan.

People are tired of high-flown words, dry numbers: now they are waiting for concrete results. The staff of the Ministry of Agriculture, which is considered a direct executor and participant in the reforms carried out in the field, is well aware of this, and directs all efforts towards achieving good goals.

It would not be an exaggeration to say that today the main place of work of the minister, his deputies and responsible persons is the field, next to the farmers. If we take, for example, measures to create clusters, which is considered a completely new system for our country in the cotton-textile, fruit and vegetable fields, a lot of work is being done in this area with field visits.

In this process, if today in one region we met with initiators to create clusters in the fruit and vegetable direction, then tomorrow a similar event was held in another region. In the field, starting with an explanation of what a cluster was, they were at the head of the process until it was organized. In a word, the staff of the ministry became a close adviser, gratuitous assistant to farmers and dehkans, creators of clusters. There is only one goal - let the results of the reforms be really reflected in our life, everyone will be content with their fruits!

Today, fundamental reforms are ongoing in the sphere, and the process of modernization is being consistently carried out. We have set great goals. The realization of these goals, serving the interests of the people, requires all of us to devote ourselves to dedication, research, and tireless work.

We will try to ensure the fulfillment of the tasks assigned to us, to turn the agricultural sector into an industry at the level of developed countries.
