IUT introduces OMR Card System to entrance exam process
This initiative of Inha University in the Republic of Korea was discussed during the negotiations of the IUT Rector Sarvar Babakhodjaev with top management of partner university.
In early July, the IUT Rector Sarvar Babakhodjaev paid a visit to Incheon and held meetings with the President of Inha University Soonja Choe, Vice President of Inha University Inkyo Cheong and Dean of Inha University Young-Mee Ahn.
During the meetings, the sides considered issues related to organization of entrance exams for 2017-2018 academic year at high level.
In the result of held talks, the sides reached agreement to introduce OMR card system to entrance exams of IUT starting from 2017-2018 academic year, which should improve efficiency and transparency of assessing entrance exam papers of applicants. South Korean university will use special computer system to assess exam papers of applicants.
Inha University in the Republic of Korea will also send 13 specialists to IUT entrance exams. They will be responsible for holding IUT entrance exams, which will ensure objectiveness of all exam process.
Entrance exams to Inha University in Tashkent will take place on 20 and 21 July 2017.
