Italy prepares to participate in the Tashkent International Investment Forum

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - An Assolombarda article has been published on the upcoming Tashkent International Investment Forum on the website of the Association of Companies operating in the cities of Milan and the provinces of Lod, Monza and Brianza (Lombardy region) “Assolombarda”, Dunyo reports.

The material says that the international forum will be devoted to presenting to international investors the opportunities offered by the market of Uzbekistan and neighboring countries.

“The investment forum will be held in Tashkent on 5-6 March 2020, and within its framework, work will be carried out in the following three areas:“ Openness for business ”,“ Deepening regional ties ”and“ Using technological innovations ”. The program and participation procedures are available at tif.uz,” the publication informs.

Participants in the event will receive first-hand detailed information on the possibilities of economic (commercial and industrial) activities in Uzbekistan and Central Asia as a whole. The results of dynamic economic reforms carried out by the government will also be demonstrated.

“The new leadership of Uzbekistan recognizes the need to improve the general climate in the country to stimulate investment and is consistently reforming the economic sector, stabilizing the fluctuating currency exchange through a cautious policy, offering tax and financial incentives and preferences to potential foreign investors,” the electronic resource emphasizes.

“Why exactly Uzbekistan?”, the author of the article asks. “Today, a country that has a well-developed, diversified industrial structure (there are automobile, pharmaceutical, electronic, chemical, extractive, textile sectors) is striving to attract private investment in the economy, stimulating foreign companies. The country boasts a good production of agricultural products that are of excellent quality, and the government is committed to developing a modern food industry with these advantages, ”he further answers his question.

“For many decades, cotton had the status of a  monoculture.” Uzbekistan today encourages the processing of raw materials in the country for the export of semi-finished products and finished products with high added value,” the Assolombarda electronic portal draws the attention of its readers.
