Italy Defeats Uzbekistan 3-2 at U-17 World Cup

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s U-17 national football team concluded its participation in the FIFA U-17 World Cup, losing 2-3 to Italy.

The scoring opened in the 20th minute with Thomas Companelo putting Italy ahead. Uzbekistan equalized in the 55th minute thanks to Amirho Murodov’s goal.

However, Italy regained the lead with two quick goals at the 69th and 70th minutes by Thomas Companelo and Dauda Iddris, securing their victory.

In the 90th minute, Uzbekistan’s Asilbek Aliev received a red card and was sent off, but just four minutes later, Azizbek Erimetov scored to narrow the deficit.
