Italian Firms Evaluate Tashkent Tractor Plant Potential

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — As part of the “Italy – Central Asia (C5) + Azerbaijan” business forum held in Tashkent, an international delegation visited LLC Tashkent Tractor Plant.

The visit aimed to familiarize participants with the enterprise’s production and technological capabilities and to evaluate opportunities for developing international cooperation in agricultural machinery manufacturing.

The forum included Turkmenistan’s Deputy Minister of Agriculture Berkeli Berkeliev and representatives from about 20 leading companies, led by Maria Teresa Mascio, President of the Italian Association of Agricultural Machinery.

Guests were shown machinery produced in collaboration with partners from Germany, China, and Turkey. Particular attention was given to the plant’s key production facilities, including welding, assembly, and painting workshops.

Foreign participants highly appreciated the factory’s production capabilities and prospects for future cooperation.

Plant representatives confirmed their readiness to expand collaboration with international partners and implement joint projects, including the adoption of modern technologies and integration of global best practices.

The visit served as an important platform for strengthening cooperation in agricultural technologies and industrial manufacturing, opening new opportunities for exports and innovative development in the sector.
