Italian company can organize production of electricity from secondary energy resources
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan plans to attract Italian company Turboden S.p.A. for implementation of a project on the use of secondary energy resources to generate additional energy without the fuel component.
A draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers “On measures to increase the production of electricity by converting waste heat, associated gas and flare gases” was published for discussion.
The document noted that the Ministry of Innovation Development of Uzbekistan and Turboden S.p.A., a member of the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries group, have signed a memorandum of intent.
The document envisages a long-term cooperation in the utilization of associated and flare gases for production of electrical energy in the oil and gas industry and other major industries of Uzbekistan.
The draft resolution said that the parties will work on the issue of implementing the project on the use of secondary energy resources to generate additional energy without the fuel component until May 2019.
