IT Park Uzbekistan and the Franco-Uzbek Economic Chamber Sign Memorandum of Cooperation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — IT Park Uzbekistan and the Franco-Uzbek Economic Chamber (CIIFO) have signed a memorandum of cooperation.

The signing ceremony took place during a business meeting attended by Mahliyo Muksinova, Director of Export Development of IT Services at IT Park Uzbekistan, and Joanna Golas, Chairperson of CIIFO. Representatives of the Economic Section of the French Embassy in Uzbekistan, led by Jan Kashinski, also participated in the event.

CIIFO (Chambre d’Investissement et d’Industrie Franco-Ouzbèke) is an independent non-profit organization aimed at developing trade and economic relations between France and Uzbekistan. The chamber acts as a bridge between the business communities of the two countries, promotes the establishment of partnerships and investment attraction, and supports joint initiatives in industry, technology, and innovation.

During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for strengthening bilateral cooperation in digital technologies and identified priority areas for future collaboration. Among the initiatives considered were the creation of a joint committee on artificial intelligence, organizing a visit of the French Ambassador to the IT Park headquarters, and expanding dialogue between technology companies from both countries.

The French side expressed readiness to facilitate the involvement of French companies, investors, and organizations in the "Uzbekistan Tech & Outsourcing Conference," scheduled for June 17 at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Paris. This initiative aims to strengthen economic and innovative partnership between the two nations.

The signed memorandum with CIIFO marks an important step towards enhancing business and technological cooperation between Uzbekistan and France. IT Park will continue to expand international collaboration and open new opportunities for Uzbek IT companies to enter European markets.
