Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In 2021, ISUZU decided to discontinue production of 729 generation cars worldwide. Now the products of the Japanese company will be produced only in more environmentally friendly and comfortable configurations of the 700P generation.
In Uzbekistan, the Samarkand Automobile Plant is engaged in the production of buses, trucks and special vehicles based on the ISUZU chassis.
The product line already includes a new generation of products, so the changes will not affect all models. ISUZU's decision to move globally to the 700P generation will affect the ISUZU NPR 66PB, ISUZU NQR 71PL, ISUZU FVR 33P, ISUZU FVR 33G models.
“Now cars of the generation, both 729 and 700P, are available for purchase in Uzbekistan. These are time-tested models that are appreciated all over the world for their reliability, durability and quick payback. They have proved more than once the efficiency of operation in the road and climatic conditions of Uzbekistan.
We made sure that the transition of production to a configuration only 700P was carried out in accordance with global standards. For owners of 729 generation cars, spare parts will be available for the next 10 years,” said Ilkhom Yarashev, Deputy General Director for Marketing and Sales of SamAuto JV LLC.
Buses, trucks and special vehicles of the 700P generation, thanks to modern technical solutions, have increased the comfort and safety of the driver. The equipment runs on an ISUZU engine, has an improved braking system, improved ergonomics and design, is equipped with air conditioning, electronic heated side mirrors, and a central lock.
