Istomin bows out of Dubai tournament

Uzbekistan number one Denis Istomin could not advance to the second round of the АТР Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates with the prize money of about US$2.36 million.
In the first round, representative of Uzbekistan faced world number two Novak Djokovic from Serbia and lost in straight sets 3:6 and 3:6.
The match lasted an hour and 24 minutes. Djokovic recorded three aces and saved four break points of Istomin. Serb served six aces and committed two double faults.
In his turn, Denis Istomin served three aces and one double fault during the match.
