Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 23 June, an online round table was organized by the Commission on Gender Equality of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

During the event, issues were discussed on the cooperation of the Senate Committee of the Oliy Majlis on Women and Gender Equality with the United Nations Population Fund.

The online round table was attended by representatives of the ministries of internal affairs, health, supporting the mahalla and the family, as well as a number of non-governmental non-profit organizations.

The discussion also focused on the plans envisaged for implementation in the second half of this year, as well as important issues that need to be addressed when implementing them in a pandemic.
