Issues of responsibility for sphere of investments and foreign trade in Bukhara region discussed

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 11 March, a working meeting of the Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the heads of the regional, district and city levels responsible for the sphere of investment and foreign trade in Bukhara region took place.

The meeting was attended by deputy khokims for investments and exports, as well as heads of the relevant territorial divisions of the Ministry.

As part of the task of developing an investment and export strategy for the region, a comprehensive analysis of the raw material resources and infrastructure was carried out, studying both existing and planned projects with regard to market needs.

The basis of an effective new approach to the development of the region was the idea of competent investment with real prospects for increasing exports, which is impossible without matching the intentions of specific investors with the specifics of the investment attractiveness of each district and city.

Counter proposals from regional representatives were heard, emphasizing the importance of a systematic approach in terms of the interaction "investor - state authority" and close cooperation of local representatives with the central office of the Ministry by creating an integrated system of internal communications for employees.

The implementation of this system will allow to quickly exchange information and documents, conduct consultations, organize brainstorming sessions for solving specific tasks.

The formed pool of ideas on optimizing work processes in the region will be accepted for consideration and implemented in the near future.
