Issues of introducing the latest technologies in the textile industry discussed in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 16 April 2019, a symposium was held in Tashkent on the latest technologies of winding machines designed for the global textile industry.

Representatives of Uztekstilprom Association, regional manager of Murata Machinery Mr. Daisuke Ito, manufacturers of textile technologies, representatives of textile enterprises of Uzbekistan, specialized educational institutions, as well as representatives of foreign and domestic media took part in the event, the press service of the Association Uztekstilprom reported. .

The textile and garment and knitwear industry of Uzbekistan is one of the most dynamically developing and attractive sectors of the economy. Considering the significant role of the textile industry in ensuring economic growth (its share in GDP is 4%) and employment of the population (over 120 thousand people), the world’s leading companies pay special attention to its development. In recent years, the industry has managed to concentrate the largest share of modern equipment in the real sector of the economy and become a leader among other industries in the number of established enterprises with foreign capital.

The Presidential Decree “On measures to accelerate the development of the textile and garment and knitwear industry” dated 14 December 2017 opened up broad prospects for further development of the industry.

The document provided foreign investors with new benefits and preferences, primarily to strengthen the incentives for attracting foreign investment and modern technologies in the regions of our country.

At the Forum, devoted to the issues of introducing modern technologies and expanding international cooperation in the textile industry, issues of further deepening the interaction of industry enterprises and manufacturers of world textile engineering were discussed.

The event was organized by the company “Art-Textile” with the assistance of the Uztekstilprom Association.

Since May 2017, the official representative of Murata Machinery Ltd (Japan) in Uzbekistan is the company Art-Textile.

At the forum, presentations were made by Mr. Daisuke Ito, manager of Murata Machinery Ltd, who presented the participants with modern innovative developments in textile engineering, including the latest technologies of winding machines.

At the forum site, Uzbek manufacturers got acquainted with the latest technological developments and samples of equipment for textile production, and also signed contracts for technical re-equipment and modernization of enterprises.
