Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 12 July 2022, a meeting was held in Moscow between Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Vladimir Norov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergei Lavrov.
The commitment of the parties to the further intensification of a constructive mutually beneficial political dialogue, trade and economic cooperation and cultural and humanitarian exchanges was emphasized.
Particular attention was paid to the comprehensive implementation of the agreements reached during the high-level meetings.
The parties exchanged views on topical issues of world and regional politics.
An agreement was reached to continue cooperation within the framework of the UN, the CIS, the SCO and other international institutions.
The organizational and content aspects of the upcoming events were discussed, including the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the SCO Member States in Tashkent on 28-29 July 2022.
The Russian side is informed about the progress and priority areas of the constitutional reform launched in Uzbekistan.
